The lingerie world has been buzzing since spring about a new girl in town – Tutti Rouge. What is she like and what will become of her? Turned out she became an interest of many suitors – and the blogosphere couldn’t get enough of her. Great looks, sweet girliness and impressive curve-friendly designs have been all around the web and now it’s 2COP’s time to proudly present you, my wonderful ladies: Tutti Rouge – looks, great size range and confidence-boost in a same pretty package.
I desperately wanted to find out what was this new brand all about and was able to reach the creative director of Tutti Rouge for a small interview.
2COP: Was it an obvious choice to go for such a wide size range and why did you choose full-bust market in the first place?
Jessica Prebble: I felt there was room in the market for a sassy, fashion forward, fuller bust brand. I very much felt that bigger busted girls also deserved to wear flirtier styles.
2COP: What was your inspiration for your SS-13 collection?
JP: Whilst visiting Paris, I noticed two shop windows and in particular the ‘Laduree’ patisserie that was displaying stunning coloured macaroons – the colours really were breathtaking and very much helped to form the palette for SS13.
2COP: What is a Tutti Rouge woman like?
JP: She is confident, fun, sassy and fashion forward.
2COP: In your opinion, what are the key ingredients of making a perfect bra?
JP: The key ingredients are definitely support and fit which very much involves using great quality materials.
2COP: Are you interested in expanding to other lingerie-related products, such as nightgowns and robes, in the future?
JP: We will be expanding in the future, but we’re keeping it a Tutti secret for now!
2COP: In which part of the world has Tutti Rouge been most welcomed when it comes to consumers and retailers?
JP: We’ve had an amazing response from all corners of the globe – obviously the UK initially, but following that we have gained both consumers and retailers in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe.
2COP: What have been the most challenging parts of starting a lingerie company and creating a brand?
JP: The most challenging aspect of being a start-up brand is the constant juggling of tasks and being able to switch your brain between creativity, production and costing!
What has been the most fun part of launching your SS-13 collection?
JP: The creative side is the most fun part – being able to design the collection, shooting the photos and videos, marketing the product and then finally seeing it displayed in store.
Massive thanks to Jessica for answering my questions! I think I’ll be keeping a keen eye on this brand since it obviously is such a brilliant gem. Next week I’ll be reviewing Tutti Rouge set that was kindly sent to me, so keep checking my blog! Tutti Rouge can be found on Twitter and Facebook where you can btw enter a fantastic competition with a prize that is worth competing for 😉 See ya soon lovelies, xx
I can’t wait for them to release their Lottie bra , I haven’t tried their line yet because I’ve found that plunge bras work best for me.
Yeah, Sophie and Lottie will definitely be next on my list as well! I guess I’m lucky girl as so many styles fit my bust. It’s not that fortunate on my wallet though.. 😀
It was wonderful to learn a little more about the Tutti Rouge brand as well as the inspiration for the Spring designs! I can totally envision them being based on sweet treats from Paris, and I think Jessica really captured that aesthetic wonderfully. I can’t wait to see what new plans are in the works for future seasons! Great interview questions too. 🙂
Thank you Erica! I was so thrilled to interview Jessica and the expansion sounds exciting indeed, can’t wait to hear what they’re up to 🙂 I also love the aw -13 collection and can’t wait try on the other styles as well.
