Happy New Year! – What is in store for 2014?

Hello dear readers and the happiest New Year to y’all! I had such a laid-back casual celebration last night and am quite happy that I didn’t end up hitting the night clubs – I wasn’t really in the mood and felt like staying in with a few friends. So my year wrapped up quite nicely. I hope you had a lovely time as well and feel hopeful about the new year we are facing.

My year wasn’t THE best of all with the break up and other social conflicts besides weight gain which has been really hard to accept because of my past with eating disorders. Sometimes I don’t mind all the shit that happens but this year there has been too much of it going on. BUT on the other hand I would like to single out this December which has been great excluding a couple of fights with my ever-so-lovely dad. (Don’t get me wrong, I love him but he is sometimes the most ignorant annoying person that I know…) I also am now “officially” with someone I really love to death, he makes me the happiest girl alive and I have no words to describe how wonderful he is. In addition to that my blog had 18 000 views last month which felt amazing and I can’t thank you all enough. I am so grateful of how my blog has turned out and how much you all have been involved somehow through social media and my comment box. THANK YOU. Also I’d like to thank everyone who has worked with me and made all the reviews, interviews and brand portraits possible; you have all been vital to my success.

Because I love you all so much I would like to reveal you what is store for 2COP in 2014. I have a feeling that this will be such a good year both regarding my personal life and my blog. So what is ahead? Let me hand you some hints..

  • I will be leaving to Liverpool on 5th and as soon as I get my internet access I’ll be reporting you on Bravissimo’s fitting service and their products. I have planned to go bra shopping immediately I arrive since guess what? I GREW OUT OF MY CK SMOOTHIES and my life is ruined. Just kidding but I seriously need a couple of t-shirt bras. 
  • Moda and possible Pure London exhibitions in February which means a lot of info on new lingerie products and brands
  • Full bust shopping in UK aka more OOTD posts (I haven’t bought a single piece of clothing since Sep, I might just die out of happiness when I get to Liverpool One)
  • So many bra reviews!
  • A blogiversary in February which will mean some goodies to you my dear readers! Remember to follow me through e-mail and/or social media to find out about any giveaways I’ll be hosting. You’ll find the links on the sidebar –>

Fit & Active September – Some rambling on sports, boobs, weight and fashion

Hi my beloved readers, this is something we came up with a group of other lingerie bloggers and I decided to hop on: Fit & Active September. I personally don’t currently experience any issue with working out with boobs but as so many girls know doing sports definitely affect your boobs. Here are some thoughts on the matter, just generally but also we dig into a bit deeper this time (seems to be the theme of the month, “all skeletons out”, huh?). Image

As I have “confessed” before I suffered from anorexia for a couple of years, starving myself with only a slice of bread and a few berries a day, running like a lunatic until my ankle broke after too much strain and too weak bones. Yes, it happened and it was not fun. Above you can see a pic of me at my thinnest, just take a look at those legs and arms and you’ll know what I mean. I was already healing during that summer but the kilos didn’t come back that soon after I started to eat again.

But well, enough of that, they did come back eventually. And to be honest, it shocked me a bit. Well, not a bit, a lot to be honest. I still don’t want to talk about my weight in numbers so I won’t but let me once again be the most truthful to you: I didn’t enjoy all of the way back to “normal”. It was painful, and still is.

This month as FussyBusty challenged us to take part in her theme of the month, and as I still do love working out, I decided to jump in and see what happens. I also was challenged by a friend to focus on our arms this month so it’s kind of a double challenge for me. I started to think about what to write to you about but here I am, rambling (sorry).

TO THE POINT – where my extra kilos show is basically my upper body, even though I’ve also gained some weight on my legs recently (mostly muscle though). And what my upper body means? Boobs, arms and stomach. Well, someone could say that I’m lucky cause, hey, my boobs get bigger! Yeah, I get your point. But on the other hand stepping past the G-zone would mean much more limited options which would definitely make me face some problems with style and fashion (sorry but it’s the truth, man). 

This is why I’m focusing on my upper body this month and of course, on aerobic exercises which burn the fat and let those muscles underneath shine through. I know, I need to be careful not to go overboard this time so I’m currently eating normally and probably will in the future as well, maybe with just a little less sugar. I haven’t been feeling that healthy and comfortable lately so I feel this is a good decision for me. 

Here are some choices and tips what to wear during high-intense work-outs…

Nike shorts are probably the best for jogging in hot weather but they are also great for dancing if you prefer wearing a looser size in the first place. Mine start to feel a bit too skimpy for throwing my legs in all directions possible so I’m considering buying an oversized pair of soccer shorts for hiphop lessons.

I also like Nike for their long jogging pants, they’re probably the best in the market for me at least. Very stretchy (allows weight fluctuations) and high-rise to make you feel as comfy as possible. I also wore mine today for a BodyCombat lesson and they worked perfectly and let me to kick some air-ass!

Ok, so I’m a bit brand-loyal, so what? Why to change something good? BUT there is one thing Nike won’t do to me and it’s running shoes. My sneakers are from Adidas and I loooove their Climacool range that offers some pretty kick-ass air-conditioning to my poor feet. Those bad boys above there are for dancing though. Probably not the best for my feet but definitely the bounciest and coolest ones.

What I wear for tops then? This might surprise you but just something random, really. I hate that slippery material sports tops are usually made of so I just go for something cottony and a bit loose. What I would love to try in the future are these Stella McCartney for Adidas pieces that scream my name so bad, even though their price tags don’t. Maybe, someday?
